Hey, guys hope things are going well and you are eagerly awaiting some sun as am I. A couple of things for this week to use for your groups:
Q: What is the balance between wisdom and planning (Ecclesiastes 10) and then being a person warned against in Ecclesiates 11 who is always waiting for the perfect time to move? Where do we see this in our lives and what does wisdom say about it?
Q: How can your lives reflect being someone who is "casting their net" for the possibilities? What does this intentional living look like? Where have you seen it played out? How are we planning to be people who live like this?
Q: Do you have a Paul in your life? (mentor) Do you have a Timothy in your life? (mentee (is that a word?)) Could you seek these people out? Could you be on for someone else?
Also we are going to meet for a Community Group Leaders training every other month at the building. The first one is June 28th (saturday) from 8-10pm and the 2nd is planned for August 16th (same place from 8-10pm) I will have donuts and coffee for us. Hopefully you can plan on making at least 4 of the 6 meetings a year if not all. This will be open to current as well as aspiring community group leaders so encourage your under-studies to come as well. As we go forward I am trying to find the right balance between training, encouraging, and making sure we are all going in the same direction so try and support me with this by coming. Also if you have any input on topics that should be discussed let me know.
Have a good week.
Eric

I don't suggest you discuss your favorite donuts at the CG leader training...but that's just me. Besides, everyone already knows that the bismark is the best so there's no pint in discussing it.
that was supposed to be 'point' and not pint. Pint is what you drink to wash down your bismark (dah!)
